All About Me
My name is Jessica and I am a fully qualified, traditional acupuncturist working from my light and welcoming home clinic on Hill Lane, Southampton
I first discovered acupuncture after becoming ill with burnout and chronic fatigue as a primary school teacher. I had tried everything and acupuncture was the only thing that helped me. On recovery I decided to change my life and begin helping others like myself and those with many other conditions for whom Western medicine is just not working
I graduated from The Acupuncture Academy in 2022 and was awarded a distinction for their Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture, which is a three year degree qualification accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board. I was also commended for my clinical work. My training was extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical and Acupuncture theory, with a focus on the Fve Element approach. This means that I will consider your main health problem, together with an holistic approach to you as an individual. I see people for for many conditions and symptoms such as musculoskeletal issues, headaches and migraine, mental health including stress, depression and anxiety, IBS, chronic fatigue, menopause, menstrual problems, fertility and during pregnancy to name but a few.
As well as treating adults I have studies with the world famous Rebecca Averne to become a paediatric specialist and now treat children from babies through to teenagers.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to the Council's Codes of Safe Practice and Professional conduct. British Acupuncture Council members are also registered with the Professional Standards Authority which is a government body set up to regulate health and social care providers, and is accountable to Parliament.
My clinic is licensed by Southampton City Council. I hold full medical malpractice and public/products liability insurance cover.
